What are Grease Traps?
Grease traps are devices placed on kitchen cleaning appliances such as sinks, woks, and any other drains that collect grease. Properly maintained grease traps help prevent unwanted grease build-up from entering a private building’s sewer or municiple waste water system.
What are the requirements for my facility?
1) You must have a properly functioning grease trap.
2) Must use a certified licensed grease hauler.
3) Grease and solids must be removed from your trap a minimum of every 90 days.
4) Must retain receipts and records associated with the maintenance of your grease trap for submittal to your local waste water district.
How much does it cost?
While Blue Sky Bio-fuels offers FREE waste oil collection, we do charge for grease trap serice. Our services are priced competitively at $125 up to 35 gallons and $75 for each additional trap at the same location. For larger in ground interceptors please contact us for pricing.
